Campaigns
Breast Buddies is involved in promoting breastfeeding and in campaigning
for greater acceptance of breastfeeding in public.
- For International Breastfeeding Awareness Week (1st - 7th August
2008) we are asking women across the world to tell us about their
experiences of breastfeeding in different countries. To share your
story please fill in the
form.
- We are concerned that the Government appears to have
back-tracked over the proposals to ensure that mothers breastfeeding
babies can do so without fear of being asked to stop. Initially the
proposals were for babies up to 12 months but this appears to have
changed to six months. We support the petition to make breastfeeding
in public legally acceptable for all babies and children. To sign
the petition click
