Welcome to Breast Buddies
Breast Buddies is a community group which aims to promote breastfeeding in Leeds. We are a group of mums who have all breastfed our children and want to encourage other mums to start (or continue) breastfeeding. Together we are the management of Breast Buddies! At the moment we have eleven volunteers who have undertaken a ten week training course in providing breastfeeding support and they are happy to meet you. We are also a Medela breastpump agent. Details of how to hire a Medela breastpump can be downloaded here and the terms of conditions here. It is our hope to promote breastfeeding in Leeds by keeping breastfeeding in the press and by working with other organisations. We organised a poster campaign to celebrate Breastfeeding Awareness Week 11th to 17th May and are maintaining a database of breastfeeding friendly places in Leeds.
